I know its not something to be proud of, but nevertheless, Im enjoying wat Im doing. khit na puroz pasurf2 lng sa net, sitting and watching tv, and the best part of all is being able to sleep as long as I want, as often as I want!!... its something that I’ll not be able to do anymore when I already start working. Also, Im just taking my time since im still waiting for my license to be released by the PRC. (yah right!)
But of course, I still have plans of working. Im still praying and hoping that soon ill be able to be employed as a staff nurse in a hospital. Its something, I think, that is very difficult to attain nowadays since there are lots of nursing graduates from different prestige schools plus the fact that hospitals opted to hire someone with referrals. Argghh. Bias!
I remember months before I took my board exam, I planned already the road I’ll be taking. I planned that after the board, i’ll volunteer as an assistant in our Brgy. health center, and after that, if I will be lucky enough to pass the board, I will go straight to the hospital and work already. That’s simple!.. but I guess, when u’re in the real world, its not that simple as what you think it is. Many, or almost all of your plans will fail, go out of direction, or even mislead you. Oh well, I am fortunate that I was given time to think, prepare and perhaps try out other plans. Coz as for me, I see this TAMBAY moment as an opportunity for me to do all these things.
"You don't have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step. And then take a step on it and then another step, one step at a time. One can walk over the highest of mountain peaks by taking one small step at a time one after the other. That's all it takes one step at a time and one day at a time."
