For Singles only!!

Im sure! Ngyon plang puno n ang mga resto at malls or even parks sa dami ng mga mgda2te.. BUT before u plan to go out with sum1 ngyong Vday be sure to consider these things ill tell yah..

Dating is the act of going out on dates whereby one person socializes with a potential lover using a process that involves scheduling, usually exclusive, meetings of two people with mutual interest in one another.

For us, we use dating as part of the “getting to know stage”. During this process, people often explore each other through "dates" to discover whether or not they would be compatible together in a serious relationship. And if that person doesn’t feel any connection between them, then that’s the end of “dating”.

But sometimes, from what I observed, people tend to exceed from the ‘limits’ of dating. From my knowledge, I know that “holding hands” and “hugging” (i guess) are allowed in this process. What’s worst is when I heard people talking that they enjoyed the date because they were able to ‘score’ with their dates.. hmmm… this is what I’m talking about!!.. tsk tsk tsk.. Nowadays, a lot of people say that it’s the usual thing today and that’s what makes the “dating” more exciting!.. Well, I don’t know about that but for people like me that view s*x as an intimate activity between a married couple, it should not be done especially when you are just “assessing” the person and yet you don’t have a relationship (perhaps, a serious one) with the one you’re dating with.

I think, we should first really get-to-know the person deeply. Then from there you can build the relationship and do things the way you want it to be (I will not argue with you anymore when it comes to that matter). For now, just enjoy each others company and the “kilig” feeling it gives you.

Ok! Enough of the “sermon”.. Let me just give you tips on dating.

Dating Rules - Do's

  1. Do try to look your best and be punctual on dates
  1. Do have fun when dating. I know the subject of Mr. or Miss Right is serious but dating is fun too so keep it that way.
  1. Do flatter and compliment your date on the way they look and the things they wear. People tend to go to a lot of effort on a date (hopefully) so being told that you are looking good is a nice thing to hear.
  1. Be interested and interesting. Having that ‘sense of humor’ makes the dating an event that your date will always be looking forward to.
  1. Do tell someone if you are NOT INTERESTED in dating them again. Being lied to and hopes kept alive is an evil and malicious act (yes I mean it that strongly). If you don't want to see someone again then let them know that in the nicest possible way you can.
  1. Date only those you seem interested or attracted to. Don’t let your friends blow you away by their ‘opinions’ about your date and people they want you to go out with.
  1. Do stay positive even when dates don't end well. It is certainly true that you will date a few frogs before you find a true prince.
  1. Dating is the best way to be creative and take advantage of the chance to go to places you always wanted to visit.
  1. Make dating happen for yourself. People will not come and ring your bell from nowhere. Dating requires positive action so go out there and meet people, as many people as you can. Practice your chat and flirting anywhere and everywhere. Being nice to people is very sexy and great fun.
  1. Do surround yourself with positive like minded people who are also dating. Think about the girls from Sex and the City and how they assist each other in dating and matters of romance. Negative friends who don't condone the dating scene or don't understand it will only help lower your own expectations and make you feel negative.

Dating Rules - Don'ts

  1. NEVER BE LATE, especially for men, even if you have a very good reason. Women should never be kept waiting and should never have to seat themselves – ever!!..
  1. NEVER TELL LIES to your date or pretend anything about your life that isn't true. If this is your perfect match for God's sake do not allow it to be ruined by some silly lie told early on.
  1. Never be TOO available. Being available every night of the week means you are making yourself uninteresting. Be busy, be unavailable generally and be interesting.
  1. Don't give away too much about yourself at the start. People love “enigma” and mystery. Reveal things little by little each date so that you and your date will have enough topics to talk about.
  1. Never check other people out when you are with your date. FOCUS on your date! Have the courtesy of concentrating solely on your date when you are with them.
  1. Don't be rude or get drunk on a date. Courtesy and manners will get you everywhere.
  1. Don't ignore your PERSONAL SAFETY when dating. Have a cellular phone and keep it charged, tell your friends where you are going and be safe. Date at first in well known public places and never ever be pushed into anything you are not happy with.
  1. Don't give out personal information like home phone numbers and addresses on a first date. Keep them until you are sure of your date and the future possibilities. Who knows, they might have stalked you and I bet you don’t want stalkers around you!
  1. Don't have sex on a first date if you ever want to see your new date again. If you like them and are interested in them, sex on a first date will usually ruin everything. Its too much too soon and is not the way of romance.
  1. Never date a married person or person who is already in a relationship! They will not leave their partners for you (except exceptionally rarely). Don't be a shoulder to cry on, you deserve far better.

May you have a ‘perfect date’ (or even close to that) on this special day of hearts. Go out and have fun! Let us not allow ourselves to get lonesome while other people are making the most out of it!..=^.^=

"Half-way there"

There was this girl I met a few days ago. I was so bothered by her looks coz she’s seems a 'lil upset for something that I don’t know yet. But as I approached her and asked her if she’s ok, she then looked at me in the eye and said “its over.” I was puzzled by what she said, I have no idea what that means. Oh well, I guess a lil interrogation won’t hurt her that much. So I started asking questions and letting her explain what she meant by “it’s over.”

I was shocked when she started telling me her story. Only then that I found out that she just ended her “relationship” with the guy she used to go out with. But what really surprised me was the way she said it. She’s so strong; I didn’t even saw a tear in her eyes. Maybe she already accepted it long before it happened. Though she is strong but you can’t deny the fact that she’s hurting inside. Just because her eyes don’t tear, doesn’t mean that her heart is not crying.

I asked her what brought her in making such decision. Then she answered “I guess my heart just kind of tired waiting for him to do his moves and also I can’t feel his love for me anymore!” Well I can’t blame her for that; if that’s the best way for her to move on and let go of the hurtful things that happened between them. Sometimes we have to let go at some point in order for us to move forward.

Guess she felt that I was a bit worried about her. I know that letting go is easy to say but it takes a lot of courage to do so. Then suddenly she said “Letting go doesn’t mean giving up, but rather accepting that there are things that cannot be. Don’t worry, I’ll be ok. Actually, I’m half way there.” She maybe broken but I felt that she’s now ready to pick up the pieces and be whole again. They say for a Christian, wholeness always comes after brokenness. I know God can heal a broken heart, but he has to have all the pieces. In these “tragedies” in our life that God chooses to exhibit His love and grace.

I know someday we will bump in each other again and this time she’s happy more than she can ever be.

**oops… dreaming is over, time to get up and do some household chores.

Just wondering, was that another girl or was it just a reflection of me??

Mysterious Dreams

I don’t know if I want to believe the dreams I am having for the past few months. I don’t know if that was a sign given to me or just a plain dream that brought by my subconscious thoughts.

Well actually it all started, as far as I can remember, around December (days after my board exam). I just had this dream that I almost felt that it was real. To sum it up, in my dream I just got the Board exam results and found out that I didn’t passed and had this strange score (27/100 for the 1st test and 5/100 for the 2nd test). Imagine that! What the #@*$, as if I didn’t had my review before the exam. Of course, I was so upset. I was disappointed not just for myself but most of all for my parents because I know how much they are counting on me for that license. Oh well, after quite sometime I already reached the acceptance stage in grieving and told myself that I will just take the next Board exam.

Just as when everything turning out well then suddenly I woke up and find myself in my bedroom. OMG! The first words that came out of my mouth were “THANK YOU, Lord!” I can’t stop but thanked God that it was just a dream.

I thought that it will be the last time that ill be dreaming about that, but not until this morning. Again, it was about the Board exam. I dreamt that I was checking the internet for the results and AGAIN, I found my name at the bottom list and if there will be one person who’ll get a score higher than me then automatically I’ll fail. And I saw my friends’ grades and it was so high like it almost reached 900+ points.

What is happening? Why am I dreaming these kinds of things? Was it because at the back of my mind, I was still worrying that I may not make it or its already a sign that I should not expect anymore. I am not really a believer of signs. But I don’t know if there’s a need for me to change that belief by now. Maybe the signs are true. Maybe God is telling me something from that dream. Just like what he did with Joseph. Honestly, I still want to believe in the saying “dreams are the opposite of what will really happen in the real life.”

Maybe prayers and my faith that God won’t fail me are the only things I am holding on to right now.

Who should be blamed?

Who should be blamed when a leaf fell from a tree?

is it the wind that blew it away?

or the tree that let it go?

or is it the leaf  who grew tried of holding on?

Clean-Up Time

Sobrang nka2pgod diz day kc b nmn nggeneral cleaning kmi ni mama. its our own way of removing all the “malas” and allowing more space for the “swerte” to come in and that is according to Feng Shui.. Thou im not really a believer of these but still tumulong nrin ako 2tal tambay lng nmn ako d2 sa hauz. hehe.. well According to my Mom, dapat daw every “year-end” gngwa daw e2 pra nga nmn mging mganda ung psok ng bgong taon..

As I was doing these, I realize na dapat ndi lng pla sa bahay ntin e2 gngwa.. pati mismo sa “buhay” ntin.. its not that pra ‘swertihin’ tau kundi pra mging mliniz tau as we face another year of our lives. Sbi nga dba, “start a brand NEW year”…

  • All the bad things that happened to me in 2007
  • Areas in my life na sira na at dna kya pang ayusin
  • At ung mga relationships na tuluyan ng kinalawang

All these deserves to be thrown out and put in a trash can where d garbage collector picks it up and throws it somewhere else na malayo skin.. Coz these are really “trashes” sa buhay ko.

Well for my friends nmn I think dpat ko cla itago sa place where everything else is “recyclable”.. I think friendship should constantly renew… I know this coming year e mraming mgbbgo.. evry1 will be so busy in fulfilling their own dreams but I know that no matter what happen, friendship will always be there binding us all together. Sbi nga nla, “a lil change won’t cause harm”…

As 2008 is fast approaching, still we have time to think things over.. lets make ourselves “cleaned-up” for us to be “a better person inside and out" as we face this year!!!...
